ON-SITE SHUTTLES
Mountain Top Resort offers a complimentary on-site shuttle service to help guests easily navigate the property for events, with transportation available between guest accommodations, the main lodge, dining areas, and event spaces. To request a shuttle, guests can call the front desk at 802-483-2311. We will be providing a set shuttle schedule for the main events, which we’ll share in advance to ensure everyone can get where they need to be easily. That said, everything at Mountain Top is walkable for those who prefer to explore on foot!
CELL RECEPTION AT MOUNTAIN TOP
Cell service at Mountain Top Resort is very limited, so we recommend planning accordingly. While the resort offers complimentary WiFi in common areas, guests may experience little to no reception for calls and texts, especially in more remote parts of the property. If you need to coordinate plans or arrange transportation, it's best to do so in advance or use WiFi-based messaging apps when connected.
RESORT & LOCAL DINING
For meals outside of planned events, Mountain Top Resort offers two on-site dining options: The Dining Room, which serves breakfast and dinner in an elegant setting with stunning mountain and lake views, and The Mountain Top Tavern, a cozy, pub-style space offering lunch, dinner, and a selection of Vermont craft beers. Guests can choose to dine in or order takeout, and reservations are recommended, especially for dinner, to ensure availability. Delivery options in the area are minimal, so we recommend planning ahead for meals or picking up takeout from nearby Rutland, which is about a 15-minute drive away
WE LOVE YOUR KIDS (A LOT!), BUT…
Our Wednesday and Thursday wedding events will be adults-only so that all parents can fully relax and celebrate with us. However, if you have children / childcare on or near the resort, please reach out—we’d love for them to join us for our Friday celebrations!
TRANSPORTATION OPTIONS
Ride-sharing services like Uber and Lyft are very limited in the area, so we recommend that any guests staying off-property should plan their transportation in advance if choosing not to drive.
